Charter Link Logistic Group (CTL), through its subsidiary Joy Region Logistics, held a container truck handover ceremony last month to mark the arrival of thirty flagship Isuzu container tractors, arranged by the Dah Chong Hong Motors under CITIC Group. This fleet upgrade represents a significant milestone in the Group’s expansion and deepening of its presence in Hong Kong’s logistics market.
Dr. Michael Tsui, Executive Director of Charter Link Logistic Group, expressed gratitude to Dah Chong Hong for its swift and professional service, laying a foundation for long-term cooperation between the two parties. Dr. Tsui noted that this capital investment, together with the earlier establishment of a 180,000-square-foot ocean consolidation center at the HIT Hutchison Logistics Centre, is designed to further strengthen Charter Link’s leadership in global ocean consolidation services. As a Hong Kong-based international enterprise, Charter Link is actively aligning with national development strategies, upgrading its ocean products while optimizing its cross-border consolidation network.
Mr. Gordon Yu, Director of Sales & Services Business at Dah Chong Hong Motors, highlighted that beyond Taiwan and Singapore, the company will further expand into Southeast Asian markets such as Vietnam. He emphasized that within Charter Link’s expanding footprint, both sides can become long-term and trusted partners.
In recent years, Charter Link has pursued aggressive expansion, becoming one of the few Hong Kong enterprises to achieve global leadership in its operating domain. The Group now operates more than 70 directly managed subsidiaries worldwide and is among the limited few consolidation service providers certified under both ISO Quality Management and Information Security Management Systems. Moving forward, Charter Link will continue to leverage economies of scale and infrastructure upgrades to reduce operating costs, enhance the competitiveness of Hong Kong’s logistics enterprises, and consolidate Hong Kong’s status as an international shipping center.
