The new entity, Charter Link (UK) Consolidation Limited, has officially commenced full operations, marking a significant milestone in CTL’s global expansion strategy.
The company’s inaugural import consolidation container, shipped from New York onboard m/v OOCL Seoul 117E, has successfully arrived at the Port of Southampton—signaling the start of a new era for LCL services in the UK.

We are bringing a pragmatic, focused, and strategically efficient LCL product designed to benefit the entire freight forwarding and logistics community in the UK,” said Michael C. The UK operations will be led by John Berry, Country Manager of CTL UK, who brings decades of NVOCC expertise and deep knowledge of the UK freight market. “We’re building something special here—a modern, open-plan working environment in the heart of Chelmsford, Essex, underpinned by a strong company ethos and a positive, forward-thinking attitude,” said Berry.
